We've had many awesome milestones along the way to opening our member-owned grocery store.
From conducting our feasibility study at our first 100 members, to launching our search for a location at 750, we are getting closer and closer to making this store a reality.
Why is March 31 an important date for us?
March 31 is when we need to have raised the funds to secure our location. Without a successful capital campaign, we will not be able to move forward with our site. Our lease is contingent upon us raising these funds.
If you want to help bring a community owned grocery store to Oshkosh's central city you can:
-
Become a member-owner! We need to continue to build our membership to 1200 before we open our doors.
- By the way- member-owners who are 18 years old and live in the State of Wisconsin are eligible to make a member-loan! Once you become a member, someone from our campaign team will be in touch about the details of this exciting and unique opportunity.
- Already have a packet, but have some questions about how to complete it? (We get it, it's a hefty legal document!) Email us at [email protected] to set up a time for us to help.
- Make a donation. We need community support to make this happen and a food co-op will benefit the entire community. Thanks to the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation, we can accept charitable contribution to our project.
- Questions? Are you interested in making a contribution but aren't sure where to start? Perhaps you're a member who would like to learn more about why member-loans are important to this campaign? Not sure how to make the biggest impact? Email us at [email protected] or call us at 920.312.7220 for more information.
Based on our most recent market study, this site is the best location for our store.
Will you help ensure it can be a reality? 191 co-op owners and community supporters have already contributed to the capital campaign. Will you join them? We can do this!
