with Yanet Fernandez
Hula-hooping has a rich history, dating back thousands of years. Ancient cultures used hoops made from various materials for play, exercise, and ceremonial purposes. The modern plastic hula hoop gained popularity in the 1950s, becoming a cultural phenomenon that continues to inspire movement today.
Join us for a dynamic class that highlights the numerous benefits of hula-hoop dance and fitness. Led by Yanet Fernandez, a certified Hoop Love Coach with over 12 years of experience, this class is perfect for all skill levels and aims to empower you through the art of hooping. In this session, you'll learn essential hooping techniques that promote cardiovascular health, improve coordination, and enhance core strength.
Beyond the physical benefits, hooping is a joyful practice that helps reduce stress and boosts overall well-being. Hooping also encourages creativity and self-expression, allowing you to connect with your body and unleash your inner artist. As you twirl and spin, you'll experience a sense of playfulness that fosters a deeper connection with yourself and others. Come experience the fun and connection that hula-hooping offers, and discover how this playful movement can transform your fitness journey!
